Beach Cottage
sleeps 4 | dogs welcome
Beach Cottage is a gorgeous two-bedroom cottage in an idyllic location overlooking the sea. Both the master bedroom and the living room have direct views over the sea, and the second (twin) bedroom overlooks the gardens and woodland nature reserve at the back.
The cottage has been recently renovated to an extremely high standard, including a complete new craftsman-built kitchen, and a high-quality bathroom with rain shower. The renovations also include a completely new modern heating system.
There are two gardens at the cottage, one at the rear which is a morning/early afternoon sun trap, perfect for breakfast or lunch outside, and steps leading up to a large summerhouse with sofas and board games (summer months only). The garden at the front faces the sea, and gets the evening sun. It's a lovely spot for watching the yachts and the evening sun pass by, while enjoying a glass or wine.
Living Room
Watch the yachts sail past this famous stretch of water. Put your feet up in front of a blazing open fire. Relax with a book in either of the leather sofas or the comfy armchair.
Master Bedroom
Wake up to a glorious seascape view in the luxurious king size bed with superior quality pocket-sprung mattress. The bedroom also features solid oak wardrobes and chest of drawers.
Twin Bedroom
A great place for two kids or two adults to enjoy a deep 'fresh sea air' sleep after all that exploration and adventure. The original sash windows overlook the woodlands behind.
Dining Room
A warm and intimate space for friends and family to share their highlights of the day. Fully equipped with classy crockery and generous wine glasses.
Kitchen
Brand new high quality hand-built kitchen with stone worksurface and Belfast sink. Tall fridge-freezer, Neff slide&hide oven and hob. Dishwasher, washing machine and Moroccan zelige tiles.
Bathroom
Also new, featuring a combi bath/shower with overhead 'rain' shower and fitted cabinets.
Outside
Breakfast patio and summerhouse at the rear, barbeque and sunset champagne drinking area at the front (sea facing).
