The cottage at Fort Victoria on the stunning west coast of the Isle of Wight offers a superb location for a self-catered holiday.

Through the gate at the front of the cottage, guests can walk straight onto a network of woodland coastal paths that lead to spectacular views over the Solent, to sandy beaches, historical monuments and some great pubs and restaurants. At the rear of the cottage lies the beach, and the 150-year old Fort Victoria.

Walk, cycle, sail or motor around the island at any time of year, and there is something for all ages and all interests. There are gardens, vineyards, Roman forts, pop festivals, extreme sports competitions and plenty to entertain and excite kids of all ages.
